Plan, plant and responsible for the subsequent aftercare of municipal horticultural displays, sport and other turf and the urban forestAssist in planning and performing all aspects of plant (tropical and garden annual & perennial) culture, garden design and maintenanceMaintain records of daily activities for future reference as well as performance records for individual flowers, gardens and bulbsPerform traffic control in accordance with Book 7Other duties as assignedShift hours of operation are between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm, (Monday to Sunday)Must be available to start full-time work as of May 5, 2025, varied shifts including evenings and weekends
MUST BE ENROLLED IN AND RETURNING TO FULL-TIME POST SECONDARY STUDIES IN FALL OF 2025 – Verification will be requiredPreference will be given to those enrolled in horticultureMust have a valid Class ‘G’ driver’s licenceMust demonstrate corporate values of Belonging, Collaboration, Accountability, and Innovation
